The Wayback:
Cabins & Restaurant
Location
Austin, Texas
The Wayback: Cabins and Restaurant is composed of a dozen buildings carefully interspersed among a two acre grove of oak trees, with a view to a protected hillside, while right off a main thoroughfare through scenic West Lake Hills. The Wayback contains nine individual and unique guest cabins, each with their own outdoor space, a pool/store building, a restaurant and patio with attached hotel office, and a takeaway coffee building. The cohesive design is inspired by simple Texas farm buildings, with metal roofs, board and batten and stucco siding. Walkways wind through the woods, past the pool, and end in a beautiful meadow used to stage outdoor weddings and other events.
Our approach is rooted in collaboration, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of our clients' vision. We believe in the power of architecture to transform spaces and enhance lives. Each project is a reflection of our commitment to excellence and our passion for creating timeless, inspiring designs that stand the test of time.
