Composed of three structures stitched together with various outdoor spaces: patios, decks, stone walkways and covered porches, the Boerne house was inspired by beautiful, random groupings of farm buildings glimpsed on cycling journeys through small Texas towns. As the custom residence was designed for an elderly couple, universal design is evident throughout the one level home: walk in shower, grab bars in the bathrooms, large hallways with turn around spaces and large doorways.
