Located steps away from the gorgeous Monterey Bay coastline, the beach house in Pacific Grove was a major remodel/ addition to an existing mid-century home. Designed in collaboration with the Architect/Owner, we were inspired by the mid-century details like exposed structure to hang the circular stair off the corner of the addition, and expose beams in the Living, Dining and Kitchen. the mid-level deck conceals the normally ugly proportions of the required two car garage below and the roof deck takes advantage of a spectacular ocean view.
